Jerry Quinlan founded Quinlan’s Equipment in 1961. A traveling salesman for International Trucks from Milwaukee, Jerry decided he wanted to move north to start a family. He opened Quinlan’s Equipment on Antigo’s south side, initially as an International Truck dealership. Over the years, with the help of his son John and a staff of loyal employees, they grew the business into a multi-line operation.
In the 1990’s and 2000’s John’s sons, Tony, Tom and Adam came aboard and with the help of a great staff of employees, the business saw further growth. Additional lines were added. New facilities were added, renovated and expanded.
The growth did not come without struggles. High interest rates in the early 80’s, GM’s bankruptcy and restructuring in 2009 and Case IH’s changing business model all resulted in significant challenges that were overcome to make us what we are today.
Today we are your local source for International and GMC Trucks, Bobcat Equipment, Mahindra tractors, Mahindra Roxor utility vehicles, Boss Snow Equipment, Cub Cadet and Hustler Turf Equipment and other quality lines. We service what we sell and have the largest selection of parts in the area. We appreciate the support of our many loyal customers. Thank you for your business!
